Fun ways to exercise!

I like working out and exercising, but not with machines or by going to the gym. My favorite workouts consist of activities to take my mind off of really working out. I recently discovered the Culver City stairs in Baldwin Hills. It overlooks LA and has a beautiful, breathtaking view of the city. This trail is fun because you can choose different paths to get more out of your walk. The stairs is definitely the hardest part, but once you make it to the top, you can take a dirt path down, or go around and take the cement path down. There's so many options, which makes this one of my favorite ways to exercise. 

 A little foggy, but the view up top was worth every struggling step up those steep stairs.

 I'm deadly afraid of heights so taking the stairs down with no railing was not the best idea.

Biking. My BFF's boyfriend is a bike fanatic and showed me the ropes of Critical Mass. The craziest time during LA to be driving is the last Friday of each month. This is when motorcops help fellow bikers trek from dtla to all parts of the westside. For this particular ride we went from dtla > venice beach > santa monica beach > culver city and then we were left to wander home. What an experience.. 30 miles and one sore bum later, I am officially in love with biking again.

Femmecartel-X Jewelry

I recently opened an online jewelry shop (together with 2 other girlfriends) featuring edgy key pieces to add to any bland outfit. Our shop name is Femme Cartel-x, my girlfriend came up with it and it stuck with the 3 of us. It's feminine, edgy, and badass, don't you think?  I styled some pieces together with a mix of silvers, golds, and rose golds (I know, the 3 colors should never be mixed, but I never follow rules..). 

One of the first collections is based on 18K plated gold/silver/rose gold jewelry. All allergy free and is very sturdy. The contrasting colors with the pop of orange from my bestie's celine bag looked amazing. I love panthers, they give this vibe of being fierce and adds a touch of sexiness to this cocktail ring. I like to wear it with t-shirts, lbds, and it goes with just about anything! My favorite bangle is this nail one, it has this hidden clasp, which conceals the opening of the bangle. Awesome! 

The 2nd collection featured is all about neon/bright/fun pops of colors. We wanted friendship bracelets that would stand out. The colors remind me of fun lollipops and candy. Candy Crush anyone? :) 

I like simple and light necklaces and this wishbone silver necklace does the job. Its pretty and matches just about everything. I like it paired with my white tank and overalls. Bringin' back the 90's!
